ASHI Basic First Aid helps students develop basic first aid knowledge, skills and the confidence to respond. Traffic Incident Management (TIM) this course consists of a planned and coordinated multi-disciplinary process to detect, respond to, and clear traffic incidents so that traffic flow may be restored as safely and quickly as possible. Effective TIM reduces the duration and impacts of traffic incidents and improves the safety of motorists, crash victims, and emergency responders. TIM Responder Training brings police, firefighters, DOT, towing, medical personnel, and other incident responders together to engage in interactive incident resolution exercises. Designated Employer Representative (DER) this course is designed to provide company DERs with the knowledge required to perform their duties effectively, as outlined by Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations for drug and alcohol testing (49 CFR Part 40). Following this class, you’ll be well-equipped to perform DOT-mandated drug and alcohol testing in a professional and consistent manner, in compliance with all applicable DOT regulations. ASHI Child and Babysitting (CABS)this training program is designed to focus on supervising, caring for and keeping children and infants safe in babysitting settings. The program provides fundamental information in the business of babysitting, proper supervision, basic caregiving skills and responding properly to ill or injured children or infants.

DOT Reasonable Suspicion Training the purpose of this training is to enable supervisors to determine whether reasonable suspicion exists to require a driver to undergo testing described in §382.307. It must include at least 60 minutes of training on alcohol misuse and 60 minutes on controlled substances use (120 minutes total). (Course Code: TSSSDOTRST)
National Safety Council (NSC) Defensive Driving Course (DDC-6)Participants will acquire the knowledge and techniques to recognize potential hazards and avoid collisions and violations and why choosing safe, responsible and lawful driving behaviors and habits make personal and financial sense. This Defensive Driving course is approved by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission for participants to receive a two (2) point reduction or receive up to a 10% insurance reduction on their car insurance for three (3) years upon completion of the course.
